This month, rather than starting from a palette – I just let my imagination wander. I thought about colors that I would want on my needles…..and colors that would look great during the summer to fall transition. I hate to rush the seasons, but this year fall is definitely coming early to the Midwest; yet I’m not quite ready to relinquish the halcyon days of summer.
Spectra is our first color – it’s a cool tonal in hues of teal, aqua, blue/green and just a hint of purple. Think of it as your favorite pair of jeans in yarn form – it will go with everything! Spectra is kettle dyed, with lots of random, small pops of color and no defined colorway repeat.
Suggested Pattern Pairing: Stay the Same Pullover by Veera Välimäki
Reflection is our second color – one end tonal, and the other a riot of speckles! Light and airy, this skein is variegated and begging for a little attention. It looks like pixie dust has been liberally sprinkled over the strands.
Suggested Pattern Pairing: Close to You by Justyna Lorkowska
These limited edition beauties are available to order in any quantity – on your favorite yarn until September 1st. They are dyed to order and ship out approximately 4 weeks after you place your order. You will find them right here on my yarn club page. Happy shopping!
