The Let’s Boo-gie sweater pattern is the Halloween equivalent of your favorite ugly Christmas sweater. This cozy knitting project will keep you warm all through October, and we won’t judge you if you wear it after as well!

No matter where you stand on the great candy corn debate, we can all agree that this knit Halloween sweater is absolutely adorable and perfect for passing out candy to trick-or-treaters.

This circular yoke pullover sweater is knit from the top-down, and you can choose from 2 or 3 strand-at-a-time charts. The top and cuffs feature candy corn and happy ghosts in stranded colorwork/fair isle knitting. A simple eyelet pattern is used on the body of the sweater.

This knitting pattern is fully tech-edited and test knit. Our reviewers have commented that the pattern is “super easy to follow” and “easy to read.”

With options for XXS-6XL, it’s a size-inclusive pattern for tweens and adults so that you can make a sweater for each member of the family! Five versions of the Yoke Chart are included to accommodate the full range of sizes. This pattern accommodates chest measurements of 25” – 65” / 63 – 165 cm and gives 3”/ 7.5 cm positive ease for ease of movement.

Skills & Difficulty

Advanced Pattern assumes familiarity with i-cord cast-on, k2tog bind-off, 2 & 3 color stranded colorwork, knitting in the round, yarn-overs, and achieving accurate gauge.

Familiarity with knitting garments and colorwork is strongly suggested.
